   I started purchasing Morocco Gold several years ago. I have since introduced it to my family and dear friends. I use this as Christmas and birthday gifts for family and friends and they have come to count on receiving their bottles every year. This is a very high quality oil with an amazing flavor and texture. Absolutely delicious!

   My husband and I love this oil and it’s ability to help us both with joint issues. We both awake to no stiffness in our joints since taking it for last 2 years. We go through a bottle a month. Small price to pay for the great mornings. We thank you for this product and it’s affordability, especially with sale prices.

   I purchased this olive oil thinking it was the best there is, it’s lacking the pepperi punch taste, and it’s more goldish color and not more greenish. I am having doubts about it’s authenticity. I personally think it’s over hyped and over priced.

     What we have set out to do is to combine the taste characteristics of a premium extra virgin olive oil, young and fruity, with the naturally occurring, health enhancing polyphenols within our olive oil, to create an extra virgin olive oil that is well balanced and not too ‘aggressive’ when taken on its own. It is the polyphenols in our oil that produce the ‘pepperiness’.

     We have tasted other oils that are almost impossible to drink on their own. It is important to strike the right balance for Morocco Gold customers.

     Regarding colour, this is not an indication of quality. This is why tasting at olive oil competitions is carried out in blue glasses so that colour is not judged as an indication of quality. Colour will vary depending on the specific olive cultivar. Oil from the Picholine Marocaine, which is the only olive used for Morocco Gold is typically a light golden colour.

     Morocco Gold sets a new standard for authenticity, provenance, and the guarantee of extra virgin quality through our rigorous testing and traceability regimes. We work with certified growers, Morocco Gold is tested locally by ONSSA, (the National Office for the Sanitary Protection of Food Products in Morocco), then re-tested by our EU certified laboratory to guarantee extra virgin quality.

     Our rear label information also sets a new standard for information about the oil itself, lot / batch / bottle numbering to give absolute re-assurance regarding authenticity, traceability, provenance and the guarantee of extra virgin quality. Uniquely, we include the results of our testing on each and every bottle of Morocco Gold, so our customers can see at a glance the guarantee of extra virgin quality.

     So please be assured, when you purchase Morocco Gold extra virgin olive oil, you will be receiving your product exactly as described.

     However, all that said, at the end of the day it is all about customer taste and choice. Olive oil is rather like fine wine in the sense that there is an incredibly wide choice available, each with their own distinctive characteristics for you to enjoy.

     Regarding organic status, Morocco Gold has commenced the process to become organic certified. However, there is a ‘conversion period’ of up to 3 years during which time the certifying authority, for example the Soil Association, will satisfy themselves that there are no chemical fertilizers etc. present in the ground, no pesticides etc. This process applies, even if it were to virgin Amazon rain forest. There is then the Moroccan administrative process to grant organic certification – all in all a lengthy procedure. So whilst Morocco Gold is produced using only natural methods with no chemical fertilizers or pesticides, we cannot at this stage label our oil as ‘organic’.This in no way however detracts from the natural characteristics of the oil itself, the way in which our olives are hand-picked, cold pressed within 24 hours at low temperature to produce a very high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

    Just to let you know I have received my bottle of Morocco Gold Olive Oil. I couldn’t resist tasting it immediately and was I pleased. Such a wonderfully rich taste and like no other Olive Oil I have ever tasted. I thought I had a good brand in my cupboard until I listened to Dr Steven Gundry’s Video on Olive Oil. Confidently I went to my cupboard to get out my bottle. No bottled by date, olives bought from four different countries and no polyphenol mention or any other mention for that matter. Immediately I tried to see where I could find Moroccan Olive Oil and came across your website. It is the nicest Olive Oil I have ever tasted and the young man from DPD took your details to order some for his mother. I will be ordering again.
